Now it is finally the time to get on the read and see if all the preparations were made or not. What am I worried about we are in the US and not in some remote country where we can't buy soap or toothpaste etc. If we forgot something we are going to buy it so with that said we are off and running. As so often with plans we have not left at 11am and we are pushing 2pm right now. Last phone calls, anxiety visits to the toilet and all the rest of the stuff has put a dent into that departure time. See attached the pictures of our bikes and the dudes that will be riding them. Fully loaded and ready to go. We have 90 degrees here right now and I have trouble getting into my riding gear with all that heat. For some of you that might be too much detail but I have high hopes in my silk bike underwear to keep be cool. Temperature that is the look is really bad. I guess I have to win the sexy awards with my cloth on. It will be a bloody sweat shop. We are off to go north a little bit towards Ocala National Forest. "Ocala National Forest" - isnt' that the home of the dangerous hairy brown recluse spider ? I hope you have some bug spray in all that luggage !

Hey Till. I finally made it on the blog. I showed folks from the office you new hair. Luved it! Make sure you drink lots of water or you'll see alligators and Hawaiian shirts floating through the air - you'll see them on your own though via other ways - ha, ha. I will post pics from Smokey Mt. trip in late June/early July so you can all the hot spots. Ride safe.
Wow-what can I say? You guys are amazing! I am so exciting for you-this trip should be a great adventure. It was so nice to see you two in Cleve-burg before the departure. I will look forward to many more exciting updates...
Marie and I are excited for you guys; we missed you at the Cinco de Mayo game Saturday. It was a short lived game; everyone had cold beer and food on their minds!!! We played 35min 1st half and 12 min 2nd half; it was an enjoyable afternoon by all. Enjoy your first week of riding, continue to send pictures, and we look forward to meeting up with you and Zinnie in San Fran or NYC.
